Charlotte NC: Charlotte Named One of World’s Top Emerging Fintech Hubs

Like many rapidly growing industries, fintech experienced its initial momentum in the cities most commonly associated with venture capital support, such as San Francisco or New York.
However, as the industry continues to mature, many cities are welcoming an explosion of fintech companies. With that in mind, Bank Innovation magazine has named five cities that are poised to become fintech hubs – and this list includes Charlotte.
Pointing to a skilled technology workforce, favorable cost of living and the presence of fintech accelerator Queen City Fintech, Bank Innovation included Charlotte as one of only three U.S. cities on this list.
